Director Tony Fox was born and raised in the Shreveport/Bossier area of Louisiana, and is very proud and happy to have come back home for his directorial debut, and the chance to work with family and friends. He graduated from the Colorado Film School, in Denver, Colorado, where he now resides.
What was always a love of films, became an extreme interest in horror film makeup, while in high school. After a stint in the US Air Force, Tony found his way back to film, and felt more drawn to writing and directing.
Having worked with the likes of Hal Needham (Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run) and RSA (Ridley Scott Associates, Go Army) in commercial works, along with ABC (The Mole 2), Ben Affleck (Untitled Reality Series) and BB King (in his diabetes awareness commercials), Tony has also shot several film and commercial shorts.
He finally returned to horror (which was always a guilty pleasure), and chose the low budget experimental film, The School In The Woods, as his feature film debut. |
