Well Gosh-Well Let's See- Ummmmmmmmm. Ummm?

Air Force Brat. Born premature in Seattle-weighed 4 pounds. Father was a local there and Mom a Canadian Citizen from British Columbia. In an incubator first six weeks of my life with Last Rites Given over me at least half-dozen times. Born on Halloween Eve when the ghosts and goblins come out. Spent most high school and college years in Tennessee and Northwest Florida. Weighed 49 pounds at age 10 and was bully bait. I learned to run from them, sneak on them from behind, when they dispersed, and hit them with rocks or frozen snowballs. Went to college to avoid military, which got me anyway.  Went out for sports in High School- spent most of my time getting chased back to the bench, by the coaches, during games. Did letter in my Senior Year in Football as "Ripper Fagan"- the 130-pound terror of the Varsity Team.

In High School, tried out for the Senior Play- about the only one that sat there in that classroom alone, with nothing, while everyone else got scripts and left. That was the end of my acting career. Fast forward- The Poolhall in Maryville, Tenn. Now you know you've made the big time when you wind up in a Pool Hall in downtown Maryville, Tennessee for fun. Up pops my 'ol pal Roger Steele who announces they've got tryouts at the college for a play and there's twenty minutes left.  I decline, saying I'm no good at it. Roger says" Look Ron, you can do something useful or you can hang around your seedy friends at this dump". Okay Rog-the next thing I know is I'm crawling out on stage in filthy rags and a beard and getting poked with spears.  HOME AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!! Then making the Dean's List in my Senior Year to graduate with a flat 2.0 average, graduating, and getting my Draft Notice.

Fast Forward- retirement as an Air Reserve Technician from Barksdale (38 Years) and the first thing I say at my ceremony is "I'm not suited for military life".  Now always looking for gigs and my son makes sure to lock me in my room when visitors appear.

Magic at Rocky Mount School!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sensed this throughout audtions, rehearsals, and filming - something special here.  Once in a while you are fortunate enough to be part of this phenomenon. It's all about teamwork and trust- and it just flows.  The production began to take on a life of  its own. And for every frame, a thousand stories  will be told.  This project is a victory of human relationships. This was tested by elements and  things that  happen on set that can't  be planned for.  And that was a test. Everyone got an "A".  I'm not going to try and name names- it was a united effort by everyone. And maybe some ghostly support by our unseen friends. Therein lies the ultimate joy of film making. What a priviledge to be a part of it!!!!! And Jamie- it's okay to be emotional. It is what makes you a fine actor.
